Hairdressing Salon Manager

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Salon Manager to oversee the day to day operations of a salon and lead on creating innovative hairstyles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day to day running of the salon
• Styling clients hair to a high standard
• Manage and supervise salon staff
• Delivering high customer service and an exceptional customer experience
• Create and maintain a professional, clean, organised and friendly salon environment
• Train and mentor staff on new techniques and trends
• Schedule appointments and manage the salons appointment diary
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring product are readily available for clients, and ordering products.
• Stay updated with the latest hair trends and recommend new services and products to enhance the salons offerings
• Ensure compliance of all health and safety regulations

Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

• A minimum of 2 years experience managing a busy hair salon and leading a team of junior hairstylist
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Styling Afro-Caribbean natural hair and knowledge of protective hair technique
• Expert level hair styling in sew-in weaves, installing lace closures/frontals, wig making, hair bleaching, colouring and lace tinting.
• Knowledge of current and emerging hair trends, products and styles
• Passionate, confident, creative and enthusiastic
• Punctual and organised
